I registered for the half marathon but would like to switch to the 4 mile run…can I do this?
It is possible to transfer from the half marathon to the 4-mile, but not from the 4-mile to the half marathon.
Can I wear headphones?
Headphones will not be permitted for safety reasons.
Is the course open to walkers?
Both the 4-mile and half marathon courses are open for walkers. Please note that walkers will have a cut off time of four hours from the start of the race for the half marathon.
Are jogging strollers permitted?
Baby jogging strollers will be permitted for the 4-mile event only.
Are wheelchairs welcome?
Wheelchair racers are welcome for both races. Please be sure to contact the race director at Race@Fort-4-Fitness.org
after registering.
How late can I register?
On-line registration is accepted through September 24, 2008. Late registrations will be accepted at the Expo from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 26, 2008.
What will the weather be like on race day?
Normal high is 72 degrees and normal low is 48 degrees.
Where is the starting line?
On Main Street near Freimann Square.

What time does the Fort-4-Fitness start?
Both races begin at 7:30 a.m.
Is there seeding? If so how to I get seeded?
We will operate under the honor system that participants will line up according to their projected finish time. Walkers and participants with baby joggers will start at the back of the field.

Are there refunds?
Entry fees are non-refundable and entries are non-refundable.
What are the different award divisions?
4-Mile – All participants will receive a finishers medal. The top three overall male and female participants will receive awards.
Half Marathon – All participants will receive a finishers medal. The Top three overall male and female, and top three masters male and female finishers will receive awards. The Top three male and female finishers in the following age groups will also receive awards: 19 and Under; 20 to 24; 25 to 29; 30 to 34; 35 to 39; 40 to 44; 45 to 49; 50 to 54; 55 to 59; 60 to 64; 65 to 69; 70 and over.
Will I receive a confirmation that my entry has been received?
You can check out your confirmation at https://secure.getmeregistered.com/confirm.php
Will you have chip verification at packet pick up?
Yes. Volunteers will show you where to scan the chip.
Where should I meet my family after the race?
Freimann Square
When will online results be available? Will they be posted on this Web site?
Final race results will be posted online within an hour of the completion of the Half Marathon. Preliminary results may be available online throughout the race. Results can be accessed by clicking on the link below:
