Fort-4-Fitness Half Marathon (13.1 miles)

The Fort-4-Fitness certified Half Marathon begins at 7:30 Saturday morning, September 27, 2008. Runners will start in beautiful Freimann Square in downtown Fort Wayne just as the leaves are changing to Autumn colors. The course then traverses Swinney Park, cuts through the Historic West Central Neighborhood and heads north, eventually passing through Franke Park, home of the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo. From there, the route makes its way back downtown to Freimann Square.
Final race results will be posted online within an hour of the completion of the Half Marathon. Preliminary results may be available online throughout the race. Results can be accessed by clicking on the link below:

Participants can pick up race packets the evening prior to the race from 5 to 8 pm in the lobby of the Allen County Public Library located in downtown Fort Wayne. Overnight accommodations are available in downtown Fort Wayne and at each highway interchange around the city. | |
| Runners and walkers will select their level of expertise and seed themselves for the race accordingly. All finishers will receive a commemorative medal. Awards will be given for the top three finishers overall and within each of three age groups. | ||
