Fort-4-Fitness 4 Mile Run/Walk
The Fort-4-Fitness 4 Mile Run/Walk takes place on Saturday morning, September 27, 2008. The course begins in Freimann Square and heads west on Main Street to Swinney Park, back through the Historic West Central Neighborhood and then returns through the heart of downtown Fort Wayne to its starting point.
The American Cancer Society is asking participants who want to make their miles more meaningful and support the fight against cancer to become a Charity Runner. Find out more by visiting http://main.acsevents.org/fort4fitness

Participants can pick up race packets the evening prior to the race from 5 to 8 pm in the lobby of the Allen County Public Library located in downtown Fort Wayne. Overnight accommodations are available in downtown Fort Wayne and at each highway interchange surrounding the city. The Hilton Fort Wayne at the Grand Wayne Convention Center, located downtown - close to the events, is offering special discounted room rates and late checkout times for participants (see "Events" page for contact info.). | |
